Volunteer

Dedicated volunteers have formed a solid base for the Heart of the Dharma Sangha, and because of their generosity the Heart of the Dharma is able to bring Dana's teachings to several communities across the West.

Several volunteers contribute time by holding a practice group in their area, set up and clean up for the weekly practices, develop fliers, place information on event sites, organize retreats, answer emails, clean the practice space, meet to plan and carry out community events and so much more. All efforts makes a difference, no matter how small.

Through the practice of giving, a commitment to the practice grows and a natural dropping off of self-cherishing begins. This then brings a feeling of community, gratitude, and fulfillment.

If you would like to volunteer to help, there are several opportunities available. In addition, if you have a special skill (web design, transcription, grant writing, constructions, sewing, etc) that we can use please volunteer to share this talent with us.
