Dana's ordination and ordination letter
Heart of the Dharma’s practice is based in Tibetan Buddhism. Many Masters in this lineage were trained in the Nyingma sect but received teachings from wisdom holders and enlightened beings in various sects. The lineage itself has been passed purely from Buddha Shakyamuni until today. The realized wisdom of the Lineage Masters was passed to their disciples like nectar poured from one container into another.
You will not find an abundance of rituals in the Heart of the Dharma sangha. Dana has followed Anam Thubten's guidance conducting practices with few rituals. She finds this allows for more people to meet with the Dharma. She conveys the non-conceptual teachings of Prajnaparamita which are experiential, pointing directly to ones’ true nature. It is a path free of sect or dogma.
